Sales Representatives

LAI needs Sales Representatives to manage our growing customer base and to continue to seek out new opportunities in sales. Our Sales Representatives are responsible for increasing LAI revenues in the manufacturing and product development market by establishing relationships with key customers, identifying and driving sales opportunities to effectively leverage resources within LAI to drive new business in contract manufacturing. A successful Sales Representative for LAI will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, three-plus years experience in manufacturing industry sales, exposure to a consultative sales methodology and working experience with sales force automation software, such as ACT, GoldMine and Salesforce.com, along with a proven track record of meeting or beating quota for high-value products or services and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and methods. Our Sales Representatives are responsible for developing and executing territory sales action plans, expanding the existing customer base, building customer relationships, achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals, driving the sales process, managing major accounts, preparing performance reports, and working with internal technical teams to coordinate development and manufacture of customer product requirements.

Manufacturing Process Engineers

LAI has openings for Manufacturing Process Engineers who will be responsible for providing theoretical and hands-on engineering expertise for our contract manufacturing services on all aspects of operations to include materials, equipment, tooling, fixtures, maintenance and manufacturing process flow. The position will have direct interface with manufacturing to support operations, interact with our customers on issues and opportunities, and confer with material, equipment and service suppliers. The process engineer will contribute on cost estimating, develop and implement data collection and process controls for operations, participate in the development of process documentation to be used in manufacturing and design and conduct experiments for new process development and product creation. 
Successful candidates will have a bachelor of science degree in engineering and a minimum of five years experience in manufacturing with a Six Sigma Black Belt certificate highly preferred. Candidates must be experienced in DOE, SPC and FMEA, and with CAD tools such as Catia, Pro-E and Unigraphics, along with standard Microsoft Office tools. Experience in lean manufacturing concepts and implementation of same, project management, CNC programming with G and M codes, CNC motion systems is necessary, with exposure to waterjet machining highly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to solve issues with a sense of urgency is necessary for this position.

What you need to join our operations team:

- Skill in using hand inspection tools, reading blue prints and using CNC programs
