CNC programmer needed for precision waterjet machining applications.
Knowledge of three-dimensional modeling and five-axis programming using CIMEX, AutoCAD, SurfCAM and

Five-Axis Machinists

third shift. Position includes setting up tooling, machine offsets, in-process
quality inspection and operation of a five-axis machine. Highly technical CNC

Abrasive Waterjet Machine Operators and Technicians,
Second Shift
Seeking experienced CNC machining technicians for second and third shifts. Successful candidates will have a background and interest in precision two- and three-dimensional machining. Experience in four- and five-axis machining preferred. Knowledge of CNC controllers, SPC, metal cutting, use of measurement instruments and blueprint reading is necessary. Familiarity with A/B and Fagor CNC controllers is preferred. Experience in three-dimensional CNC programming and abrasive waterjet operation is especially desirable. Duties include set-up, editing and operation with minimal supervision. Some heavy lifting required.

Southwestern Laser, Tucson, Ariz.
Five-Axis CNC Programmer
Have you worked with Laserdyne laser processing equipment? If so,
we are looking for you. Southwestern Laser, Tucson, a division of LAI
International, Inc., is looking for a Full-Time Five-Axis Programmer who can
receive data in the form of concept sketches, blueprints, drawings and
computer models, and create or translate to CNC language for laser or
waterjet production machinery. Typical configurations are complex solid
models requiring 5- and 6-axis machining.
Successful applicant is responsible for:
- Creating and posting NC code within budgeted and estimated
time allotted to minimize de-bugging of programming.
- Organizing, storing and retrieving NC programs within LAI's computer network.
- Effectively transferring NC code electronically within LAI and to customers and suppliers.
- Providing programming information, advice and training to LAI staff.
This is a hands-on position that requires the successful applicant to be
experienced and knowledgeable with Laserdyne equipment. Programming
software experience required, and Surfcam experience is preferred.

Laser Technicians, Third Shift
Southwestern Laser, A division of LAI International, Inc., is hiring Laser
Technicians for third shift. Duties include setting up, programming and
maintaining five-axis Laserdyne CNC machines. Position includes setting, machine
off-sets, production and in-process quality checks. Technical background in CNC
and blueprint reading preferred, but enthusiasm to learn is a must.
Successful applicant must have at least one year of machining experience,
be able to perform in-process inspections and be familiar with ISO quality
standards. Must be physically able to lift 150 lbs in a team lift.
