Five-Axis Laser Machining
LAI's multi-axis machining capabilities includes both five-axis abrasive waterjet and laser services. LAI offers complete 5 axis laser cutting and machining, specializing in high-speed trimming and hole-cutting of three-dimensional parts.
Five-axis laser processing services also include welding and heat-treating, in addition to laser drilling and further waterjet services.
LAI's five-axis laser station features a split safety cabin for continuous part
processing with zero load and unload time.
Power ranges from 1,500-3,500 watts
LAI is also capable of laser cutting tubes and processing large parts. The CO 2 laser station has power options ranging from 1,500 to 3,500 watts for cutting or welding. Dual 60-inch x 60-inch workstations on the five-axis systems offer quicker turnaround times. The laser, with cantilever-style flying optics, moves from one workstation to the other. An operator can unload a completed part and load another piece of material, while the laser machines another part in the second cabin.
