LAI wins contract to produce armor plate kits

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 31, 2009 — LAI International, Inc., a strategic supplier of precision components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers, announced it has signed a manufacturing contract to produce armor plate kits for mine-resistant ambush-protected military vehicles.
   Deliveries of the components are in process and will continue through 2009. The value of the contact is $500,000. 
   LAI has provided ready-to-assembly armor components for several specialized armored vehicles, including MRAP, which is a joint services program, managed by the Department of the Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
